The Wind

The winds have definitely shifted and are blowing solidly in the direction of our home (the purple dot.) That’s not great.

Fortunately, the fire seems to be somewhat extinguished along the front nearest us (yellow markers are active fire from yesterday and before and red markers are active fire this morning.)

We also believe there’s a control line, a bulldozed fire break and fire personnel, between the fire’s edge and Pescadero Creek (the blue line that parallels the fire’s edge.)

So, while the winds are unfavorable, we’re still hopeful.
